Reviving this blog

This must the most inactive blogsite on the internet. I have not been updating it for the longest time. Well, starting from now, i will update it more often, like my diary, at least once a week.
starting with my activities, travels and hobbies.

Another year went by

I must apologize for not updating this blogsite for months now. How time flies when you're busy with work, family, studies and travel. Another year went by already. I have been doing a lot of travels the last couple of months, America for a couple of times and various parts of Asia.
Finished 3rd semester of my MBA and starting the 4th and final semester soon. In fact, I have started to work on 2 of my final projects. Hope that the new year will be even better for all of us in every aspect of our lives.

SeaDweller or Pam164

Not sure if should get a Pam164 or the SeaDweller. The 44mm Pam is very nice on croco strap but the Seadweller is a classic. I have Pam88 but not any of the Oyster Professionals yet. The Pam is highly trendy, overpriced and very collectible now. On the other hand the SeaDweller is a classic but I don't really like the design...

Making our own decisions

There are times in our lives where we need to make decisions, it may not be easy, it may not even turn out well, but it is our decision.
Human dynamics is a complex set of principles in human functions of mental, emotional and physical aspects (Seagal, 1979).
When human interaction and dynamics fail in a group, a push becomes a shove, we need to make our stand. On what we believe in, based on our principles, values and faith.
I am not sure whether this less travelled road will turn out well or not but I will give it my best shot.

Making our own rules?

Family values, religion, rules and regulations can probably help to guide us in our lives. But not sufficient for the ever-changing world we live in. History has shown us that man are known to make our own rules along the way, cutting corners and bending rules to suit ourselves. Is it right to do so?

A beatiful day

Residential over now, new classes starting in the next few days. Needed more time to recharge but got to get back at it. Felt great to have passed all 4 papers last semester. Had a chat with my Prof last week and found out from him that more than 80% of postgraduate students leave their jobs within 2 years after the completion of their programs. Must be the new 'skill' and knowledge acquired, made them rethink about their current situation. Can't keep bird in a cage!

Research Presentation

energy

The past 2 days, we have been working with MBA research team members on our research presentation tomorrow. It has been very hectic but I think we finally nailed it after refining our slides, message and presentation routine. We have been going over it for many times and I hope with this presentation, it would pull us through the group project.

Residential

energy
The 3rd semester of my MBA is starting again this Saturday. The next two weeks will be the 2nd residential for the course, where coursemates from HK, Spore, Msia and Australia gather in KL for classes and activities. Our team is still preparing for our team presentation on our business innovations in the Telco industry research project
A key aspect of the International Management MBA is regional teamwork. It may seem like a simple task but doing a 2 year group project with 3 reports, research and presentation is quite a challenge.
